We sang through the entire Fauré Requiem in choir tonight. Of the seven movements I had never sung two of them before, so that kept me on my toes… but otherwise it was awesome. Our baritone soloist on Libera Me is unbelievable, and the Lux Aeterna part of the Agnus Dei is stunning. I love epic choral works even when I’m stupidly singing soprano.
